TWO types of Chutney : Coconut Chutney & Onion-Tomato Chutney

 

Coconut Chutney 

INGRIDIENTS :

1 fresh Coconut (grated)

2 tsp roasted Channa dal (daalia)

Salt to taste

1 inch ginger

2 clove garlic

3 green chillies

Small ball tamarind/imli

1 tsp fresh Coriander leaves


FOR TADKA : 

1 ½ tsp oil

½ tsp mustard seeds

A pinch of asafoetida

1 tsp split skinless black gram

8-10 curry leaves

2-3 dried red chillies

1 cup of water

 


Onion-Tomato Chutney

INGRIDIENTS :

1-2 tsp Oil

5-6 Dried whole red chillies

1 Medium size Onion

7 clove Garlic

3 medium Tomatoes

1 tsp Roasted Channa Dal/Phutnana Dal

1 tsp Dried Coconut (khobra/Sukha Nariyal)

2 tsp Roasted Peanut

2-3 tsp tamarind/imli pulp

Salt as per taste


FOR TADKA : 

2 tsp oil for tadka

½ tsp Mustard seeds (rai)

8-10 curry leaves (kadi patta)
