For Chole/Matar :

1 ½  cup - Dry yellow Matar                                                

1 lit water

¼ tsp Turmeric powder

1 inch Ginger (Juliennes)

    1 finally chopped Tomato

1 finally chopped Onion

Some Coriander Leaves

1  tsp Kasoori Methi

1 tsp Black pepper powder

¼ cup Tamarind water (Imli ka pani )

1 tsp Coriander – jeera Powder

     1 tsp Red chilli powder

1 tsp Chaat Masala

1 tsp Kala Namak

Green chilli 2-3 (chopped)

Salt as per taste

 

For Kulcha :

1 tsp Butter

Some Coriander Leaves 

Method

  1. Take some mattar and soak for 5-6 hours. Then boil with 5 whistle (medium flame) than cool down.  then boil with turmeric and  mashed. Cool this down. Add this to a bowl. Add onion, tomatoes, green chilli, red chilli powder,  chilli powder, black pepper powder, coriander- jeera powder, black salt, salt, chaat masala ,  Tamarind water (imli ka pani), fresh coriander and mix it. The matter is ready to plate.



  1. Coat the kulchas with butter and coriander leave and serve hot with chole.
