Ingredients
Ø 1
bowl soya granules, soaked in warm water and drained
Ø 1
Tsp Oil for Dough

½ Cup Plain Flour/ maida
Ø 1/2
Tsp Salt
Ø 1-2
Tbsp Oil for Stuffing
Ø ½
finely chopped onion
Ø 1
Tsp Grated Ginger
Ø 1
Tsp chopped garlic
Ø 1
tsp black pepper powder
Ø ½
bowl Coarsely Ground Cabbage
Ø ½
bowl finely chopped carrot
Ø Salt
as per taste
Instructions
To Make Dough:
·
Take 1 cup plain flour and add some salt to
it. Make a medium soft dough by adding water gradually.

Apply 1 tsp oil on the dough and knead it for
a min. Cover and set aside for 20-25 min.

After 20-25 min, knead the dough again for a
min.

To make the stuffing:
·
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan
·
Add 1 tsp grated ginger followed by 1 tsp chopped
garlic . Sauté this for a min.

Add 1/2 bowl coarsely ground cabbage, ½ chopped
onion, ½ bowl finely chopped carrot and mix it well. Cover and cook for 5-10 min.

To make the momos:
·
Take a small portion of the dough and make a
thin roundel (around 4-5 inch in diameteusing a rolling pin.
·
Place some stuffing on the center of the
rolled sheet and make a momo shape by folding and pinching and gathering half
edge of the sheet. Pinch the half folded edge with the other edge to finish
the momo shape. Similarly make all the momos.

To steam the momos, boil some water in a deep
pan and place a metal ring/stand over the boiling water. Onto this you need
to place the steamer (you can use bamboo steamer or any other steamer).

Line the steamer with an aluminium foil sheet
and grease it with some oil. Place the momos in the steamer and let them
steam for 10-15 min.

Once done, serve them piping how with spicy
momo chutney. Enjoy!
