Sabudana Vada Recipe|fasting FOOD# साबुदाना वड़ा रेसिपी


It is very popular dish in maharashtrian cuisine, but is equally popular in other near by states too. it is generally served during fasting season as it contains abundance of carbohydrates and glucose. Sabudana vada is very common in Maharashtra and it is one of the popular street food in Maharashtra. The vada to be served hot with either green chutney or curd.



INGREDIENTS

·         1 cup sabudana/ साबुदाना
·         2 potato / aloo, boiled & mashed/ उबला आलू,
·         ½ cup peanuts, roasted & crushed/ मूंगफली, भुना और कुचल

·         ½  tsp cumin / jeera powder जीरा पाउडर
·         ½ tsp black pepper powder काली मिर्च पाउडर
·         2-3 chilli, finely chopped मिर्च, बारीक कटी हुई
·         2 tsp coriander, finely chopped धनिया, बारीक कटा हुआ
·         Some curry leaves कुछ करी पत्तियां
·         ½ tsp salt as per test परीक्षण के अनुसार ½ छोटा चम्मच नमक
·         oil for frying तलने के लिए तेल



INSTRUCTIONS

·         firstly, in a large bowl take 1 cup sabudana  wash properly and drain off the water. Then soak for   3-4 hours and soak. now take the soaked sabudana in a large bowl.

·         In a bowl add 2 boiled potato and finely mashed properly it.

·         additionally, add ½  tsp cumin powder,  ½ cup roughly chopped roasted peanuts, 2-3 finaly chopped green chilli and some curry leave, 2tsp coriander and ½ tsp black pepper powder and salt as per test.

·         mix and mash well with your hand.

·         prepare vada by deep frying or fry in appe pan.

·         finally, serve sabudana vada hot along with green chutney or curd.
