Dominos Pizza with Secret Ingredient
when you can now make a better
pizza at home that too without oven to forget Dominos and Pizza hut. In this recipe you will find the easiest way
to make Pizza on your stove. The crust turns out a little crispy on the onside
and soft inside. Enjoy this Veg pizza with your choice of toppings and loads of
cheese.
INGREDIENTS:
For Pizza Base:
1 and half - Cups
of Maida
3/4 - Cup warm water
1 tsp - active dry yeast
1/2 Tsp - sugar
2 Tsp - olive oil or refined oil
Some corn meal Makke ka aata
Salt to taste
For Topping:
1 Small yellow bell pepper – sliced
1 Small green bell pepper or capsicum
some sliced black olives and yellow olives
1 Small onion sliced
Some boiled sweetcorn
2-3 tsp Mayonnaise
60-70 gm mozzarella cheese
Some chili flakes and Oregano
Instructions
To Make Dough: 1st of all
to activate the yeast, mix 1/2 tsp sugar with 3/4 cup of warm water Then add 1
tsp active dry yeast and mix well. Cover and keep it aside for 10 min. After 7-10
min, the yeast should activate.
Now, in a big bowl, take 1
& 1/2 cup maida (plain flour). Add 1/2 salt to taste, 2 tsp olive oil or
refined oil and mix all the dry ingredients well. Add yeast mixture to the bowl
and make a medium soft dough. Knead this
dough for 5-10 min and add a splash of water or dry flour, if you feel the
dough has become dry or more sticky. Apply
1 tsp oil on the finished dough and keep it aside in a warm place by covering
it using a damp cloth. After approximately 1 hr, the dough should double up in
size.
To Assemble the Pizza:
Take the dough out of the bowl
after 1 hour of rest and knead it for few seconds. Take a portion of dough
depending on the size of pizza plate you have. Cover it with a damp cloth and
keep it aside for 10 min. After 10 min, sprinkle some corn flour (makke ka
attor) on the table top and start flattening the dough using your fingers. You
can also use rolling pin to do this. Place the base in the pizza tray and press
the base along the side of the plate. Spread some pizza sauce on the base and
add some Mayonnaise on it. Add some grated/chopped
mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Put some boiled sweetcorn, sliced red and green
bell peppers, sliced onions and some black olives, etc.(as your choice) and
sprinkling some black pepper, oregano
and chili flakes.
To Bake the Pizza:
We are using a homemade oven
for this recipe. To make this, take a large kadhai and add a layer of salt and
placing a ring over the salt layer and cover it with a plate. Preheat it on a
high flame for 10 min. Gently place the pizza plate on the ring, place the
plate back on it. Bake this pizza for 15-20 min on a medium flame. After 15-20
min, the pizza crust should become golden in color. Cut the pizza in pieces
depending on the size. Top it up with some oregano and chili flakes and go on.
